The original intention of establishing the foundation
Mr. Xie Jun, the founder of the foundation, and Ms. Jenny are a multinational couple. At the end of 2011, Mr. Xie Jun was diagnosed with MDS (pre leukemia) through physical examination. After a year of failed conservative treatment, he turned to acute leukemia. Before the treatment period, Mr. Xie Jun received two critical condition notices and underwent bone marrow transplantation. After various hardships and rejection, he finally recovered successfully. During the treatment period, Mr. Xie Jun and Ms. Jenny paid close attention to and deeply understood the group of leukemia patients. Due to environmental and food safety hazards, leukemia has become a serious threat to human health as a malignant tumor in the blood system. The population of leukemia patients is huge, especially in the Chinese youth population, leukemia has long ranked first in the number of deaths caused by malignant tumors.
Mr. Xie Jun has supported multiple patients during his treatment, some of whom have been successfully cured, while others have passed away with regret. During his illness, Mr. Xie Jun was pondering how to help more patients receive effective treatment. After years of preparation, and with Mr. Xie Jun's health restored, he and his wife, Ms. Jenny, have jointly founded the Jenny Hematology Care Foundation. Its founding purpose is to provide support for more leukemia patients, fund hematology medical teams to conduct scientific research and explore new treatment plans, support and organize international academic exchanges and training in hematology, in order to create more survival opportunities and better medical conditions for leukemia patients and their families.
The original intention of establishing the Jenny Foundation is to gather goodwill from all sectors of society and open up a path of hope for leukemia patients. The foundation will have a sincere commitment to public welfare, accompanied by professional management, and operate in a standardized manner through traceable, open and transparent data, thereby achieving sustainable development.
